Boulevardia: It’s our own country within a country – that just happens to be in Kansas City. You won’t need a passport, but prepare to be transported. And it’s all going down in KC’s Stockyards District from June 15-16.

Farewell to our friend and local legend Jenee Osterheldt, who has been a fixture in the KC Star for the last 16 years. Through her columns, commentaries, and mentorship of others on staff, she has given voice to folks of color as well as a more diverse KC than the city's biggest paper has traditionally represented. Though we'll miss her, we know Boston has big things planned for her and she's gonna kill it out east.
