What's Queer Bar Takeover KC? On the second Saturday of each month, we select a traditionally straight bar or nightclub and invite ourselves in. The location is announced the week of the event. The goal is to create more public spaces for the LGBT community and to provide the straight community with the opportunity to engage with people they may not otherwise encounter.
The KC Brew Fest brings together dozens of craft and international breweries, as well as KC's best local breweries. The event will take place at the plaza at historic Union Station, and will feature over 40 breweries, 100 beers, music, and food. Admission if $40 for General Admission (2pm to 5pm) and $50 for Early Admission (includes an additional hour from 1pm to 2pm featuring rare and limited beers). Admission includes beer. Food is sold separately.

Prenatal Yoga here at Uzazi Village taught Celestine Muhammad of A Peace of Yoga. Twice a month we will host a free prenatal yoga class that is open to the public. Do you have a yoga mat or bolster to donate for our classes? We are collecting them now. You can drop them off (all donations to us are tax deductible) or we can arrange to pick them up. The class will be suitable for all fitness levels and all stages of pregnancy and postpartum.
