What's Queer Bar Takeover KC? On the second Saturday of each month, we select a traditionally straight bar or nightclub and invite ourselves in. The location is announced the week of the event. The goal is to create more public spaces for the LGBT community and to provide the straight community with the opportunity to engage with people they may not otherwise encounter. 
A ladies-only, one-time dance lesson for Valentine's Day! Round up your girlfriends and register today for a sexy chair dance lesson. It's fun, it's fitness, it's hot! Ages 18 and up. 
The KC Brew Fest brings together dozens of craft and international breweries, as well as KC's best local breweries. The event will take place at the plaza at historic Union Station, and will feature over 40 breweries, 100 beers, music, and food. Admission if $40 for General Admission (2pm to 5pm) and $50 for Early Admission (includes an additional hour from 1pm to 2pm featuring rare and limited beers). Admission includes beer. Food is sold separately. 
Come and join us for a discussion of "Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood" by Trevor Noah, currently the host of "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central. Mr. Noah has a great sense of humor and there is great humor in these stories, even though he is dealing with the terrible issue of apartheid. 
Prenatal Yoga here at Uzazi Village taught Celestine Muhammad of A Peace of Yoga. Twice a month we will host a free prenatal yoga class that is open to the public. Do you have a yoga mat or bolster to donate for our classes? We are collecting them now. You can drop them off (all donations to us are tax deductible) or we can arrange to pick them up. The class will be suitable for all fitness levels and all stages of pregnancy and postpartum. 
The Healthy Craft Cocktail Class is 90 minutes long, interactive and hands-on. They're a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon while gaining some new skills and knowledge.

You can talk to employers at a job fair on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Operation Breakthrough, located at 3036 Troost Ave. If you have a high school, associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree, early childhood centers have jobs available for you. You can also learn about FREE services to help you start or return to college and finish a degree. We can’t wait to meet you and help you take your next steps!

Sunday, February 10th, Kansas City’s dynamic musical community comes together for a special one-night event to celebrate the legacy and resilience of America’s Black people and the Black people of Kansas City. 
Spirituals, anthems, songs from the civil rights movement, and feel-good classics will take flight in the beautiful sanctuary of Community Christian Church on the Country Club Plaza. 
This is a very basic class. You will learn cornrow and different braid patterns for crochets and swings, you will also lear. To add extentions. 
Film Society KC presents an Alamo Drafthouse Kansas City screening of IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT starring Sidney Poitier. and Rod Steiger.

▪ Dunkin. A new franchisee has signed an agreement to open three locations and is currently looking in Sedalia and Warrensburg for 2019 openings, but also is looking at sites in Kansas City.
