Come get LIT all Summer ‘18 with our books to film club! 
Our first book/movie for the month of June is “Waiting to Exhale” 
by Terry McMillan

We will read the book over the course of the month and meet weekly on Monday nights to discuss the chapters, 
On Friday, June 29th, we will watch the movie adaptation, in which snacks/refreshments will be provided by Popcorn Heaven. Afterwards, we will discuss comparisons between the book and the movie.

Euro Productions is ready to bring you the next evolution of Friday night entertainment. Join us for Final Fridays, starting June 29, 2018. You can party with us every month on the last Friday of the month. 
Round out your week with a hip hop flow with Rachel Collins on the roof of The Port KC! Enjoy a power vinyasa flow with some tracks of some of your faves like "downward" Snoop Dogg, "warrior" 2Pac, and "flowtorious" BIG!

The KC Muslim Civic Initiative, Crescent Peace Society, and the KC American Coalition for Good Government are planning a rally in KC against the Muslim Ban. We call on the Muslim community and our allies to join us in a rally this Friday, from 6-8 PM at the Plaza Fountain.
