This event is to bring awareness surrounding current issues regarding privacy and surveillance and their importance. We will explore how surveillance was used to spy on Black Lives Matter activist and how surveillance is currently being used to effectively spy on the average citizen.

Join us at Uzazi Village for a monthly gathering of neighbors and friends for meditation, food and community-building. Volunteers may arrive at 10:30 to help with set up. We will meditate upstairs and eat downstairs. Mama Hakima will facilitate a guided meditation from 11-12. From noon till 1:00 we will share a potluck meal. Each month the food theme will be posted, so folks can bring whatever they wish to add to the meal. Volunteers can stay to help clean up. There's no agenda other than to get to know our authentic selves, build community and do a little self care.
