Class Title: The Psychology of African American Pain and Progress through Musical and Poetic Expression. 

Are you familiar with Phillis Wheatley, George Moses Horton, David Walker, Wallace Willis, Billie Holiday, James Weldon Johnson, 2Pac, Nas, or Young Jezzy? 

This class will provide students with the opportunity to understand the symbolism and historical significance of an array of prominent African American musical and poetic expressions regarding the social, political, emotional, and psychological plights of African Americans.

Join us as we go from restaurant to restaurant exploring the best food the city has to offer. And of course we will have themes (because well, we’re extra 🤷🏾‍♀️ Lol).
