The GrandParents Support Network KC's speaker series began in January 2017. This is the sixth session of the series! Sessions will be held on a Saturday of every month spanning January to October. We will have speakers on a variety of topics including Trauma and resilience, Financial planning, Advocating for yourself and your grandchild, Navigating the school system, Legal aid, Stress Management, and more!
Kemper Museum’s third annual block party features music, food trucks, exhibition tours, family activities, a Museum Shop trunk show, and an outdoor movie to close the evening. Kansas City Art Institute offers tours of their ceramic and sculpture facilities.
KC Jazz ALIVE is partnering with Kansas City Jazz Ambassadors to host a BBQ in Theis Park! We'll have food trucks including Magnolias and Catch-N-Release Fried Fish & Bbq.
Rhythm N Brunch is bringing it's vibes down to Kansas City, and where else would we throw a sophistiratchet day party but the KC Juke House? There will be a specialty brunch menu and a bottomless mimosas option just for RnB attendees.
This event is open to anyone who has been initiated into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Sorors only event). The event is free, but registration is required.

The volunteers of the non-profit Ethnic Enrichment Commission of Kansas City has brought to you one of the largest gatherings of multiculturalism - focusing on the traditional cultures found here in our home, Kansas City and its surrounding metro area - the 38th annual ETHNIC ENRICHMENT FESTIVAL (a.k.a. Ethnic Festival or Eth Fest).
This year we are proud to present three headlining commissons: Cuba, Hawaii, and Panama. They are performing at the MAIN STAGE on SATURDAY at 7:45pm, 8:30pm, and 9:15pm, respectively.
