This year, our home moves to the Stockyards District. Situated in one of the oldest areas of Kansas City, the site was originally an area for trade and a receiving point for goods traveling on steamships up the Missouri River.
This eclectic area is the perfect spot for our visitors to cut loose and Go Yard!
This headwrapping class taught by beauty expert, Ameenah Johnson, and hosted by Uzazi Village, teaches the basics of African style and ornamental head wraps. Please bring 2-3 scarved to try the various wraps, there will also be scarves on site to try out wraps or for purchase. The class will be taught by Ms. Ameenah Johnson our local headwrapping expert.
