The Founder's Cup Auction hosted by Bridges Society of America, Inc. serves as an opportunity to recognize another year of serving young adults, as well as to raise funds for future growth. This is the inaugural year of the auction, which is scheduled one day prior to the Founder's Cup Softball Game. The event will include complimentary appetizers, drinks, and entertainment, and will provide guests the opportunity to enjoy an evening among Kansas City area professionals while supporting a worthy cause. The silent auction portion will last from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with remarks and the auction winners at 8:15 p.m. Items include artwork by Kansas City native Mark Anthony Green, photography by Kansas City nativeJahmel Holden, and gift baskets from Kansas City area businesses such as Gates Bar-B-Q, Boulevard Brewing Company, and more. We look forward to spending the evening with you.

Theatre Production: Young Black Victorian 1715 Wyandotte St July 22 - Friday - 11:00pm Alternative Showing July 25 - Monday - 6:30pm Plot: Orphaned by tribal warfare and saved from human sacrifice, one little girl from West Africa became the adopted goddaughter of Queen Victoria. Lady Sara Forbes Bonetta, named by the captain who rescued her, and after the ship that took her to England, impressed Queen Victoria with her intelligence. Straddling two cultures, Lady Sara spent her life between the British Royal household and her homeland in Africa. Fishtank Resident Artist Ras Badejo brings her story to life this year at the KC Fringe Festival.

Each ticket may be redeemed for a sampling at each regional booth - 2 main courses with rice, plus a dessert of choice. $5 per ticket/region, or $20 for all 5 regions.
