What: Conversations of the heart discussing real issues effecting women and young ladies in todays society. Three women will share their stories of challenges, transitions and victory. Who: Women from all walks of life going through or coming out of a transition, weather you are a single mother, divorced, separated, empty nest, widow, married, or just ready to make a change in your life. Why: We all know women who could fit this category. We are our sister’s keepers and must support each other in the mist of the storm. During this event, we will have a panel of ladies who will share their stories of transition. It is our desire that this will be an inspiration to others who may be going through a similar journey or know someone who is. The leadership team of Essance of Life Ministries will be available to answer questions from those ready to embrace and support our ministry as we meet the ladies in whatever season they may be in with inspiration, empowerment and education.

Kansas City’s history is deep and rich, full of captivating stories and incredible people. However, much of it is unknown to the masses of citizens that live and work throughout the city.
The remarkable past that makes up the space we dwell and has shaped our world, should be known and passed to other generations, so that struggles Black people have had to face are not forgotten, and the successes made are continually celebrated.
Our special guest, Mr. Erik Stafford, is the owner of the Kansas City Tour Company. He is an educator, historian, poet and business owner in Kansas City. You don't want to miss his presentation!!
An old problem in today's world. Join us as author G.S. Griffin discusses his book, "Racism in Kansas City: a short history", where we've come from and the challenges facing us in this new century.
